Can You Hear Us?  2020-2021

Public Projection Project

Project Location: Beaux-Arts Building at 400 Vernon Avenue, Brooklyn, NY

Can You Hear is a digital projection series that signals hand gestures and symbols to the public. It engages surfaces of 5 Stuyvesant building, a former Prudential Savings Bank (1960s) and an Urban Martial Center (1990s).

The project was initially developed to safely engage the public during the lockdown in May 2020. "Thumbs up (for the essential workers)" was projected on the chimney that is facing MTA's J, M, Z line tracks.
